A WEDDING walk is being held for anyone not wanting to watch the royal wedding on television.
The Hambleton Strollers have arranged a two hour ramble around the East Cowton area on April 29, the day of the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William.
The walk, which will take in East Cowton and Pepper Arden, St Mary’s Church and Cowton Castle, will be about four miles long.
Walkers should meet at the Beeswing Pub car park at East Cowton at 10.15 am for a 10.30am start. for details. Appropriate walking shoes and clothing is recommended. New walkers are welcome but the walk is only suitable for the stronger walkers as there are stiles to negotiate.
