BRIDES can dress like a princess for a fraction of the usual price when a York charity shop turns into a bridal boutique during Royal Wedding Week.
The Save The Children shop, in Goodramgate, is one of six across the country selling bridal and occasion wear to mark the Royal Wedding and also the charity’s annual fundraising week.
Starting at 9.30am on Wednesday and continuing until stocks run out, the store will be selling a whole range of bridal outfits, including vintage dresses and items by top designers Lyn Ashworth and Amanda Wakeley at a fraction of their regular price.
Shop manager Liz Redfern said: “Whether you’re a bride to be or searching for that perfect summer outfit, come down and try on our cut-price designer and vintage items – there’ll be something for everyone.”
