POLICE have appealed for information over a huge fuel theft in North Yorkshire.
Thieves stole £18,000 of diesel from a filling station on the A64 at Steeton near Tadcaster, on February 9, but the offenders have not been caught.
The offenders struck between 2.30am and 4.30am by getting into the underground tanks at the Total petrol station, and siphoned off more than 13,000 litres of fuel.
