WITH reference to Mike Laycock’s messy desk (Letters, May 5), I worked for 25 years at Hunter Gee Holroyd Chartered Accountants.
Early on my desk was covered in various client files, etc.
One day the senior partner, David Hunter, came up to me and whispered very discreetly: “Helen… an untidy desk is an untidy mind!” Lesson taught, say no more.
