POLICE have appealed for help to trace a 76-year-old man who has gone missing from a North Yorkshire hotel.
George Wood, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was last seen at the Norbreck Hotel in Castle Road, Scarborough, at 11.45am today.
North Yorkshire Police say his illness mean he may be in a confused state and have asked for anybody who knows where he is to contact them.
Mr Wood is 5ft 9in tall, with a slim build and short grey hair, and was last seen wearing a fawn baseball cap, fawn trousers, a brown bodywarmer over a checked shirt, and blue and white sand shoes. He is also missing half the finger next to his left thumb.
