A SERIAL bigamist from York is reported to have married her sixth husband.
Former model Emily Horne, who used to live in South Bank, first hit the headlines two years ago when she was revealed to have had five husbands simultaneously.
The 33-year-old was given a ten-month suspended sentence for bigamy in 2009 and previously spent six months in jail for the offence, with weekend newspaper reports claiming she has now married an American police officer, Fred Miller, after flirting with him online.
She met her first husband, Paul Rigby, while at school in York and married him the day after her 18th birthday at the city's Register Office. The reports also claimed she married Mr Miller while engaged to Lancashire IT worker Stuart Nelson, with Horne, now living in Dorset, saying: “People can see me as they see me”.
She was given the suspended sentence two years ago after a judge ruled she had made progress after being prescribed medication for a personality disorder, although she also said Horne had “undermined the institution of marriage”.
