I WAS hoping someone would be able to help me. I would like to appeal to anyone who found a beige and white soft monkey toy on Thursday, May 5.
My ten-month-old baby girl dropped it out of her pram somewhere between Bootham Bar and Parliament Street in York.
We spent two hours retracing our steps (three times) down Petergate, Back Swinegate and Church Street, but to no avail.
I even went in most of the shops to ask if anyone had handed it in.
The lost monkey has quite long arms and legs and a lovely belly button. Please get in touch if you picked it up as it was the first toy I bought for my daughter before she was born, and as you can imagine it is very special to us both.
