TELEVISION viewers across the country will catch a glimpse of a market in St Helen’s Square, York, when a new six-part series hits our screens later this year.
Kudos Film and Television has been shooting part of Eternal Law for ITV and members of the crew put up market stalls in the square between the Mansion House and St Helen’s Church as a backdrop.
The drama series, set in York, features two angels called Zak and Tom, who are sent to work on earth as lawyers so they can try to understand humans.
The production company, which also produced Spooks, Life On Mars and Ashes to Ashes, has set up its filming headquarters in the former Purey Cust Hospital, next to York Minster.
