AS part of Adult Learners’ Week (May 14 to 20), York St John University is opening its doors on Wednesday to showcase what’s on offer for adult learners.

The drop-in event, from 2pm to 7pm, is open to adults of any age who are interested in finding out more about the many routes available to them at York St John.

Information on offer includes subject choice, returning to learning, finance, part-time learning, career planning and disability support.

Campus tours will also take place throughout the event.

Greg Christie, a mature student at York St John, is the latest student to be named regional outstanding individual learner for Yorkshire and the Humber by the National Institute for Continuing Adult Education.

At the adult learners’ event on Wednesday, Greg will be giving two presentations about entering higher education no matter what your age or circumstances are. These sessions will take place at 3pm and 6pm.
