A YORK road is to be closed temporarily while workmen from City of York Council carry out resurfacing work.
The project is due to start at Osbaldwick Link Road on Monday and is programmed to take up to two weeks to complete, working from Monday to Friday between 6pm and 11pm.
A spokeswoman said: “The works involve the planing out and resurfacing the road and replacement of the road markings. There will be no access or egress for vehicles during the times listed above except in emergencies. There will be no on-street parking during these times. Pedestrian access will be available at all times.”
She said bus route diversions would be in place during working hours, and people could phone 01904 551400 for information on alternative bus routes. “Outside the proposed working hours the road will remain open as usual with no restrictions imposed.”
