SO THEY are all jumping on the bandwagon over North Yorkshire’s Chief Constable.
An MP has to have his say, and Tory Julian Smith leads the way, saying that Grahame Maxwell should step down (The Press online, May 12).
What crime did he commit?
Mr Maxwell did not claim thousands in expenses, unlike all those MPs. I seem to remember that Mr Smith’s boss, David Cameron, said that he was comfortable giving friends a leg-up, but that’s okay.
If you asked an MP if it was day or night, he could not give a straight and true answer. Leave the man alone – he is worth more than all those MPs put together.
