THE super rich can obtain an injunction order to protect their privacy when they have misbehaved, usually with someone other than their partner.

With the coalition Government signing up to the European Investigation Order, if I choose to fly anywhere in Europe details of my passport, travel companions, seat number, onward flight itinerary, meal request, price of ticket and even my payment card number has to be passed on and stored in a central data base somewhere in Europe.

I object that this sort of personal information from a law-abiding citizen can be passed on to a third party.

There is enough evidence of cases of identity theft from so-called secure sites without making it easier for the hackers to gain confidential information. If a computer hacker with Asperger’s Syndrome like Gary McKinnon can hack into Pentagon and Nasa computers, how safe can this system be? This is yet another instance of the EU undermining the UK’s right to rule.
