SADLY all the efforts of the outgoing Liberal Democrats were not rewarded at the elections.

They were the only party to bother leafleting in this particular area, no fewer than seven times during the campaign.

Presumably people were not interested in their achievements as council leaders.

In contrast, it is a pity Labour waged such a shamelessly negative campaign against them.

Hopefully, the new council will concentrate on governing fairly and sensibly, and understand they have a responsibility to maintain helpful public services and not waste public funds, like previous Labour councils.
