IT IS a pity that a smart remark by a 15-year-old schoolboy describing what a crucifix appeared to be, in his mind’s eye, caused such a furore (The Press, May 12).
One might ask what else appears to him as of a phallic nature. Taxi drivers will probably be wary of such a passenger, as their driving could also be criticised.
