DRUGS have been stolen from a chemist in Stamford Bridge, leading police to issue a warning to the public.
The drugs were stolen from a bin in the back yard of the chemist between 6pm on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday. The bin is used to store medicines due for disposal.
The thieves stole a large, thick yellow medicines bag which contained a quantity of drugs – some of which may have been out-of-date. Police are warning the public of the dangers of taking prescription drugs that have not been specifically prescribed to them, and are advising anyone that may come across the bag to hand it in immediately at the nearest police station or chemist.
