PARENTS across York have been urged to try using reusable nappies for their children as part of Real Nappy Week.
The event runs from today until Sunday, May 22, and aims to reduce the impact of disposable nappies on the environment.
City of York Council is supporting the scheme, and said parents could save £500 a year by using reusable nappies.
