A NATIONWIDE search for modern-day poems celebrating love and marriage has led to York poet Dawn Moore having one of her works published in a new book of love poems.
Dawn’s poem Marriage was handpicked for inclusion by Fiona Sampson, the editor of Poetry Review magazine, and poet Matt Harvey, followed a search by Marriott Hotels for new poems inspired by love and marriage to be included in the new book, which is entitled Marriott Love Poems – A Collection Inspired By Love, Weddings and Romance. The book will be available across the company’s 54 UK hotels and country clubs and will act as inspiration for brides, grooms and all members of the wedding party, offering a new take on traditional wedding readings.
