STAFF, local community representatives and Kathryn Riddle, the chairman of NHS Yorkshire and the Humber, will attend a ceremony at Alfred Bean Hospital, Driffield, at the end of its £1.3 million refurbishment.
The Day Hospital has been extended with two new treatment rooms and other facilities added as well as major refurbishment and improvements completed since work began in December.
Today’s ceremony will be led by Judy Douglas, chairman of the hospital’s league of friends, and Karen Knapton, chairman of NHS East Riding of Yorkshire, who said: “We have had positive feedback from staff, patients and visitors about the improvement work.”
