I WAS sorry to hear about Gavin Wormald’s bicycle accident (The Press, May 16) and wish him luck in finding witnesses.
It is important to report accidents like this to the police, as Mr Wormald has done. Cyclists in North Yorkshire who are injured may be able to claim compensation from the Motor Insurers’ Bureau if the offending vehicle is not identified. A solicitor can help with the claim.
