Four Pocklington School pupils made a blistering impact in the Yorkshire rugby union under-15s’ clash against Cheshire at Bowden RFC.
Yorkshire won the match convincingly 33-0 with all the tries being scored by Pocklington School pupils.
Tom Slater played inside centre, James Thompson played on the wing, Liam Hessay played full back and Peter Axup played on the other wing.
All four boys are members of the school’s U15 ‘A’ team and may well be pushing for inclusion to the first XV next season.
