Two tutors at York College are making it their business to tackle the popular Midnight Walk in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice.
The walk, which takes place on Saturday, June 18, starts and finishes at the college on Sim Balk Lane, and tutors Stella Franks and Christine Hogarth, who both work in the college’s business division, will be joining hundreds of other supporters on the six-and-a-half-mile circular walk on pavements and cycle paths around the centre of York, starting at midnight.
Ceri Richards, 17, of Niche hairdressers, will be leading a group of work colleagues, friends and relatives on the walk. The former Joseph Rowntree School student has completed the walks since 2008.
