A GROUP of volunteers have cycled across the Pennines during Christian Aid Week to raise money for poor communities.
The team of four, including a member from York, visited 18 events along the 240-mile journey from Southport to Hornsea, to help other supporters with their fundraising.
Steph Cooper, of Haxby, regional co-ordinator for Christian Aid, of Haxby said: “Two-hundred and forty miles, 18 events, in five days was amazing.
“It was be great to have the opportunity to meet so many of our supporters.
