FABULOUS fashion and eye-catching designs were the order of the day at a charity catwalk event.
Fashion label LK Bennett hosted the fundraising charity and catwalk show on Saturday in Grays Court, behind Treasurer’s House in York, to help raise money for York Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit.
The finishing touches to the outfits were provided by bespoke milliner Suzanne Gill and jewellery designers Azendi.
Dawn Doyle, manager at LK Bennett, said: “About 100 people came and it was a really nice event. It was a fabulous atmosphere and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.”
Dawn, who has four children, said SCBU was close to her heart as she nearly lost one of her children, who was born premature, but received “amazing” help from the baby unit.
