POLICE have appealed for information after a parked car was broken into and damaged in an East Yorkshire town.

The thieves targeted a Ford Fiesta in Burstall Hill, Bridlington, between 11.20pm and 11.40pm last Tuesday, forcing their way into the vehicle by bending back the driver’s door before stealing a wallet from inside.

They also damaged the rear wiper and removed the car’s aerial before leaving the scene. Anyone with information should phone Humberside Police on 0845 6060 222.
