Captain Katie Milne and the talented Nicola Mooney won 33 games, while Nicola Loten and Karen Mitchell took 27 games, and their two young stars Emma Loten and Karen Mitchell just two games behind their mums, in a 86-22 win.
Fulford beat Knaresborough with number one pairing of captain Jill McCreedy and Jill Rounce tallying 31 games.
Poppleton’s pairings of Belinda Turnbull and new partner Fiona Geldmart, along with Kathryn Baker and up and coming star Rebecca Turnbull, both gained 26 games in a 67-41 win against York.
Sarah Smelik, and another hard- hitting and skilful youngster, Eleanor Bradshaw, took 27 games from a good Boston Spa team to help clinch a 60-48 triumph.
Appleton Roebuck showed no let-up beating a brave Heworth team who don’t give in.
But Heworth will be glad to have seen the backs of captain Judy Marriott and Emma Cashmore, who won 12-0, 12-0, 8-4.
David Lloyd seconds won 78-30 against Dunnington’s fourth team, the third win on the spin for the division six team.
Dunnington’s first pair of Ann Murray and Jenny Rossington put in a valiant effort, winning 20 of the side’s 30 games.
But David Lloyd’s Krysia Clack and Suzanne Straw led the victory with 30 games, followed by 24 apiece from pairs Lynn Kent and Michele Cossey, and Lena Moverley and Sarah Cussons.
