ISN’T Google a fantastic tool? Having put just half-a-dozen words from Terry Smith’s letter of May 23 into the search engine, I am rewarded with one hit that guides me to a speech focusing on the challenges of a growing population, in which the Conservative Party leader, David Cameron starts by saying: “The modern Conservative Party has a clear vision for Britain’s future. We want to give people more opportunity and power over their lives. We want to make families stronger and society more responsible. And we want to make our country safer and greener.”
Haven’t I just read something very similar written by Terry?
Now it’s just a case of spot the difference, a game that you can all play. The speech runs to 14 pages; can you find the rest of Terry’s quotes in the document?
I wouldn’t bet against you not finding a few more.
