A complementary medicine centre in York has changed its name in a ceremony carried out by one of the city’s MPs.
Hugh Bayley was at the York Clinic for Integrated Healthcare in Tadcaster Road, formerly called the York Clinic for Complementary Medicine.
The centre, set up in 1982, has 22 practitioners of a number of therapies.
The name change comes after the clinic decided to include the term Integrated Healthcare, as complementary treatments are becoming more widely used alongside conventional health care.
