PRESENTERS on an East Yorkshire community radio station will today start an attempt to beat the world record for the longest time spent on air.
Bill Horncastle and Dave Henderson hope to beat Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles’ current Guinness World Record of 52 hours during their marathon stint on the radio station Vixen 101.
Mr Horncastle, 47, and Mr Henderson, 52, co-host The Fox’s Den Show on the Market Weighton- based station.
By beating Mr Moyles’ record by just one hour the pair hope to raise awareness of community radio.
The challenge will begin at 10am, with the pair hoping to last until 3pm on Sunday. The annual community event in the town, Giant Bradley Day, will coincide with the finish of the radio show.
