I WOULD like to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to the people who went to give my husband assistance after a recent fall in the car park at Sainsbury’s supermarket, Monks Cross, York.
And also to the staff at the store, the paramedics and the A&E department at York Hospital for their help and kindness.
A big thank you to all.
Audrey Staples, Elvington Park, Elvington, York.
• FOLLOWING a nasty fall suffered by my husband at the entrance to Coppergate in York on Friday, May 13, I would like to thank all the kind people who came to our aid.
The man pushing a trolley who rang for the ambulance, the two men who consoled and comforted my 87-year-old husband and the lovely couple who stayed with me and gave me comfort until the ambulance arrived.
Furthermore, I would like to thank the hospital staff in York and in particular the paramedics who attended our unfortunate incident, and the staff of Nero’s for their help and support during the proceedings.
My husband has now been discharged from hospital, and is making steady progress thanks to the people mentioned.
Mrs D Alston, Damesmead Close, Fulford, York.
