WHAT a boring government the coalition has turned out to be.

Marginally less tedious than calamity Gordon Brown and his authoritarian New Labour nightmare.

I mean, where is the progress?

The Tories, in particular, promised deficit reduction using a rebalance of the economy from as they saw it, too much public-sector investment, to a thriving, thrusting private sector.

Yet the economy has stagnated for the past six months, while borrowing has hit a record high with the nation’s debt growing.

The People’s Austerity is transferring public-sector debt to personal debt, which is set to soar by 40 per cent to £2.1 trillion by 2015.

The Tories, aided and abetted by Nick Clegg, are creating more problems than were there to be resolved.

Libya has already cost £1 billion.

Bailouts to struggling EU nations and increasing payments to the EU are costing billions.

The Tories are taking the economy and the Lib Dems popularity backwards to the 1980s and threatening a return to New Labour’s autocratic style of governance.

For Francis Maude has possibly announced ID cards mark two in the form of Digital ID Assurance.

Looks like Mr Clegg’s reputation could be sullied further by the Tories.
