TWO all-round aces from Archbishop Holgate’s School in York have been selected for the Yorkshire Schools’ Under-14s cricket squad.
Jonny Rawsthorne and Tom Neal, who both play open-age cricket for Heworth Cricket Club, have come through a tough selection process to earn their county stripes this season.
Rawsthorne also plays for Osbaldwick CC U15s and Neal for Heworth U15s. Both are all-rounders and both play for Archbishops at Year 9s, 10s and 11s level, coached by Jake Kappa.
Easingwold School’s Matty Fisher, who plays for Sheriff Hutton Bridge Cricket Club, is also in the Yorkshire party.
