A PIZZA Hut delivery man was robbed as he did his rounds in York.
The victim, a 20-year-old, was riding in The Groves when he was attacked and “forcefully removed” from his moped and assaulted, said police.
The attack happened at the junction of Neville Street and Neville Avenue at about 5pm on Friday, and the attacker then drove away on the moped.
A suspect, a 28-year-old York man, was arrested a short time later after the moped he was riding hit a car at traffic lights at the junction of Huntington Road and Fossway. He was questioned overnight and has been released on police bail.
The victim was not seriously injured in the incident.
