POLICE have sent out a warning to householders following a spate of two-in-one burglaries in North Yorkshire.
Thieves have been breaking into homes and taking car keys before stealing the vehicles.
Recent thefts include:
• A 56-registration Blue Mini Cooper taken from Bond Ings Rise in Sherburn in Elmet, overnight between Thursday and Friday.
• An X-registration black Peugeot 206 stolen from Kingsway in Huby between 9.30pm on Wednesday and 1.30pm on Thursday.
• A blue Audi S3 taken from Ripley, near Harrogate.
• A blue Ford Mondeo stolen from Lucas Road in Tockwith, near York.
North Yorkshire Police have appealed for anybody with information about the thefts to contact them on 0845 6060247.
They urge residents not to leave their car keys on view or in places where they are easy for thieves to find if they break into their properties.
