HOB Moor nature reserve celebrated its first anniversary on Saturday with a summer fair, featuring birds of prey and other family activities.
Families watched willow weaving, a live band, a dog show and enjoyed arts and crafts, face painting and a bouncy castle and community stalls at the event.
Hob Moor, behind Lidl, off Thanet Road, was designated one of York’s four local nature reserves a year ago.
