A man was airlifted to hospital following an accident in a village near Harrogate.
The 22-year-old Leeds man was seriously injured after his green Peugeot was involved in a collision with a white van being driven by a 50-year-old man from Bradford on the A658, near Huby.
The Peugeot driver, who had been driving towards Pool at the time, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened at 4pm on Thursday, is asked to phone TC Wiley, of Skipton police, on 0845 6060 247.
