I WISH to explain that not all mobility scooter drivers are the same.
We have to put up with people having their minds on mobiles stuck in their face then when you say excuse me, they say, “Sorry, I didn’t see you”. And, by the way, my friend, who is blind, was knocked down in York market by a scooter and although she has a white stick, he said, “Why can’t you look where you’re going?”. I think this is disgusting.
The man who did this does not deserve a scooter; it is the likes of him who gives us all a bad name.
By the way, when he knocked her to the ground he never said he was sorry.
