Two Pocklington School pupils have been selected to play for Yorkshire Schools’ Cricket Association (YSCA).

Third year pupil James Hanley will play for the Under-14s in a number of games across the country for his county.

His first match was this week against Staffordshire. His Yorkshire season will finish with the county cup finals in mid-August.

Tom Loten, a first year pupil, will play for the U12 Yorkshire squad.

His season also started this week with a match against Cheshire.

Loten wraps up the county campaign against Heavy Woollen at Liversedge CC at the end of August.
