VILLAGERS in North Yorkshire will take part in an annual golf competition to raise money for charity this weekend.
This is the second time The Crown Inn, in Great Ouseburn, has hosted the match, between residents of the east and west sides of the village.
The pub, which recently won Food Pub Of The Year in The Press Pub Awards, has organised the match in support of village projects and Jennyruth Workshops, which helps adults with learning disabilities.
A place in the game, to be held at Aldwark Manor, Alne, on Sunday, costs £15, and includes a round of golf, and a meal at the pub.
For more information on the event, which is only open to residents of the village, phone Liz or Paul Jackson at the Crown Inn, on 01423 330430.
