THREE more appointments have been made in the £6 million partnership between the University of York and a national engineering council.
The partnership with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council was set up to look into technical applications of low-temperature plasma, which could include television displays, mobile phones and computer chips.
Professor Timo Gans, Dr Deborah O’Connell and Dr Erik Wagenaars took up their new positions on June 1.
The director of the York Plasma Institute, Professor Howard Wilson, has also received a gold award for excellence from the vice chancellor for outstanding achievement.
