ARCHIVED documents belonging to a North Yorkshire council are set to be transferred.
The Ripon City Council office already holds documents relating to the city’s predecessor council.
At a meeting this week, the council unanimously backed a proposal that all public documents held in the archive from 1972 to 2000 should go to the county records office.
The documents will remain the property of the city council and the transfer will not incur any cost for Ripon. No date for the completion of the works has been set.
