THREE talented mechanics at a York garage have passed their NVQs in vehicle maintenance and recovery.

Gary Clarke, Darren Fawcett and Martin Lee, who work at North East Tyre and Autocare, undertook the six-month course at York College.

Richard Loft, manager of the branch, said: “I think that since we’re offering some form of professional service, we should have some knowledge behind it.”
