POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car and a scooter collided in East Yorkshire.
The crash happened at about 3pm last Friday, on Driffield Road at the junction with Woodhall Way in Beverley.
A 38-year-old local woman was driving her silver-blue Ford Fiesta along Driffield Road when she was in collision with a scooter at the junction.
The man on the scooter initially stopped, but then rode off in the direction of Leconfield Road without exchanging details.
The car driver was uninjured, although her car suffered some damage.
Officers would like to speak to the scooter rider to check whether he sustained any injuries and ask him or any witnesses to the incident to phone police on 0845 60 60 222.
