ANOTHER allotment site in East Yorkshire has been raided by thieves.

Overnight on Monday, thieves targeted five sheds at the allotments on The Mile, in Pocklington, stealing tools and equipment.

The same site was targeted by thieves on Saturday, May 21, when plot holders discovered 20 sheds had been broken into, badly damaged, and equipment stolen.

A separate site near the A1079, at Market Weighton, was targeted overnight on Thursday, June 2, with ten sheds broken into and again tools and equipment stolen.

Sgt Pete Rogers, of Pocklington and Wolds Weighton safer neighbourhood policing team, asked anyone with information to phone Humberside Police on 08456060222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
