THE driver of a car involved in a crash in which a York woman died remains in a critical condition in hospital.
A man in his forties, who is also believed to be from York, was driving an Audi late on the evening of June 2 when it collided with a lorry on the M1 in Nottinghamshire.
Heather Hardcastle, 37, of Tostig Avenue, Acomb, was a passenger in the car.
She died from her injuries two days later.
The driver of the car has not yet been named by police.
