THE time has come for a radical review of elderly and infirm people who are in the care of nursing homes and care homes in the private sector.
They have been informed that they will have to contribute more of their savings and investments to pay for this care.
This problem only seems to be affecting the nursing homes and care homes in England, but does not seem to be affecting those in Scotland and Wales, where the care is paid for by the Government, with most of the money coming from Whitehall, which doesn’t seem to be able to provide the service for the people of England.
Once again we see the English sector as coming second best when it comes to the care of our senior citizens.
This is happening when all the people are paying the same taxes, but one sector seems to more frugal when it comes to managing the finances.
