MR and Mrs D Rodick (Letters, June 8) complain that our library in Museum Street has become messy and loud.
I think it has become a vibrant, interesting and friendly place to be. It really is the heart of the community. I was in there recently and it was packed with people of all ages doing lots of different activities.
It was lovely and quiet upstairs and it is brilliant that there are so many computers which York residents can use.
It really is a place that draws you in and makes you want to return.
Sue Towers, Clifton, York.
