IT was all change in division ten at the midpoint of the IT Sports Mixed Tennis League season.
The leading two both lost and Wistow took over at the top after coming from behind at previously unbeaten Stamford Bridge.
Top-scorers James Silson and Rachel Huggins won their final rubber 12-0 to seal the victory.
Stillington dropped to third place as their unbeaten record was surrendered to Dunnington, who edged to a two-game victory thanks to a 12-0 success for Jordan Burbridge and Barbara Plummer.
Another team to lose their clean sheet were York as they lost to title rivals Fulford in division one. Fulford’s Sean Evans and Eleanor Bradshaw were unbeaten.
Poppleton enjoyed a straightforward win against Castlegarth, not dropping a set.
The meeting between York and Fulford’s second teams ended in a York win with Jason Whiting and Sarah Dwyer unbeaten.
Wigginton are the new division two leaders after they beat previous table-toppers Dunnington.
Poppleton missed out on second place as they went down to Fulford, whose stars were Patrick Atkinson and Elizabeth Mallory.
Rowntree Park are hot on the tail of division three leaders Stamford Bridge after a draw against Sutton-on-Derwent before Kevin Davison and Sandra Pauw ensured an extra point at Wigginton.
David Lloyd completed the double over Appleton Roebuck in divisions four and six.
The first teams met in division four and Andy Richardson and Francis Mutter continued their good form to keep Lloyd top.
Patrick Herriott and Pauline Craddock ensured Fulford won their first match – a feat matched by Peter Simpson and Maureen Wilkinson for Stillington.
The division six clash yielded a win for David Lloyd over Roebuck, but Alne went top after a win at Wilberfoss, where Chris Parks and Rachel Price led the way.
After a draw at Wheldrake in division seven, Dunnington’s Nick Bentley and Sharon Davidson moved their side to the summit with a win against New Earswick.
