Fulford top the Tyke Petroleum Men’s Tennis League for the first time this season, after a comprehensive 77-31 demolition of Bubwith.
Sean Evans and Govind Baker won a mammoth 34 games against the 2008 champions, who are yet to get off the mark this year.
David Lloyd took advantage of understrength Pocklington to record a 68-40 away win which takes them to second. Ben Orton and Kurt Haendelmayer were on-song with 29 games. Copmanthorpe and Castlegarth locked horns in division two.
Hosts Castlegarth swept their visitors aside 24-12 in the first round, but Cop stormed back to level in round two, thanks to captain Graeme Butcher and Carl Addison’s 11-1 success.
The final round was squeaky tight with all three rubbers drawn for a final 54-54 share-all.
Chris Bowles made an impressive debut for division three leaders, Stamford Bridge, with an unbeaten 27 games partnering Tony Downing at tail-enders Cawood.
Wilberfoss went top of a tight division four, with a storming 78-30 demolition of Manor CS. The Poole brothers were again in tune with 29.
In division five, hosts Bishopthorpe notched a comfortable 65-43 win over York 3, with Richard Corrigan and Alistair Scott-Somers leading the way with 27.
That was almost matched in division seven, where Bishopthorpe 2 triumphed 64-44 at York 4, with captain Jason Levesley and James Field notching 26 games.
Hosts Boston Spa 3 got their first win this season with an assertive 59-49 conquest of Wigginton 3. Wigginton 4 fared no better at home to Starbeck 3, whose Chris Noddings and Richard Ball ran rampant with 26, in a 60-48 win.
