Acomb ‘A’s Kate Rankeillor won the opening game at Leeman ‘B’, whose Sharon Rishworth started a five-game winning run with Ann Reagan securing the points for the home team.

Rankeillor and Michelle Murray (140) doubled Acomb’s point tally.

Jane Barnes, Maureen Ferguson, Julie Hagyard and Jackie Calpin gave Flag ‘B’ a 4-2 advantage at Clifton, who hit back winning the remaining legs, Liz Richford and Sarah Clark snatching victory.
