POLICE and the family of a man from Pocklington who has been missing since Monday said they are concerned for his safety due to health reasons.
David Huitson, 50, of Springfield Road, was reported missing just before 7pm yesterday, after he left his home address for a walk at about 2.30pm.
Mr Huitson, who has to take regular medication, is described as white, 5 feet and 9 inches tall with a stocky build and short straight black hair.
He was wearing a light grey coloured long sleeved jumper, dark grey coloured jogging bottoms and black coloured shoes with velcro fastenings when he was last seen.
Residents in the Pocklington area are being urged to help the police by searching their sheds, garages or out buildings for any sign of Mr Huitson.
Mr Huitson or anyone who knows his whereabouts, are urged to contact police on 0845 6060222.
